Jake’s Birthday Bash (pirate party ideas)

We are big Disney Junior fans at our house, especially Jake and the Neverland Pirates. It’s a darling show for my little guy. Today on Disney Junior, they’re celebrating Jake’s birthday with a fun episode we’re excited to watch.

We have a few months until Aiden’s birthday this year, but I love the idea of a Pirate party, and I think he’d love it! His birthday is in June, so it would be the perfect theme for a summer party. To celebrate Jake’s birthday bash, Disney just came out with this cute video with lots of great pirate party ideas. I love the clever fruit bowl!

Featured Bottom Left

This is a widgeted area which is called Featured Bottom Left. It is using the Genesis - Featured Posts widget to display what you see on the Family Tree child theme demo site. To get started, log into your WordPress dashboard, and then go to the Appearance > Widgets screen. There you can drag the Genesis - Featured Posts widget into the Featured Bottom widget area on the right hand side. To get the image to display, simply upload an image through the media uploader on the edit page screen and publish your page. The Featured Posts widget will know to display the post image as long as you select that option in the widget interface.
