But that one alone, made our petunias go crazy last summer. They were gorgeous!

IT'S TRUE!! I've heard you buy beer for your lawn and now I know the truth!

P.S. Paige just said, "How 'come someone buys rootbeer for their lawn?" Ahhh, innocent minds.

No way! I'm going to have to try the lawn beer thing. Of course while it's in my shopping cart, I'll be scanning the aisles to see if anyone from my ward is there.

I would so try this if I wasn't LDS and didn't want to support beer companies! It's interesting that such crazy recipes work so well. I wonder if it works if you leave the beer out!

will a miracle-gro liquid feeder accomplish the same as the ortho? Oh, and I’ll 2nd the coke attracting ants question. much thanks in advance for answers :-)

      Hi Amy!

I think the miracle grow sprayer should work. And about the coke…I think the sweetness of the coke gets cancelled out by the other things in the mixture.
      I hope that helps!

Yes this works but some better than others depending on the region your in and what shape your yard is in. Keep a schedule of when you spray so you know when to do it, like anything else you can over do it and kill your grass. So avoid spraying it in the middle of the day…earlier morning is the best. You can alter these recipes and there others online but these are pretty good.
