DIY Olympic Rings Candy Jars

Yipee! The Summer Olympics start this month! I love watching the Olympics, especially the Summer Games. My favorite to watch is the diving.

Here’s a fun way to get into the spirit whether you’re hosting a party while you watch your favorite event, or if you just want to show your spirit. These candy jars are so simple to make.

Just so we are on the same wavelength…if I lean in real low…do you see it now? The Olympic logo? I sure hope so.

With 5 different colors of glossy spray paint, five extra mason jar rings and a hot glue gun you can easily whip these up for a fun Olympic party night at your house.

Now for the fun part…the candy!

Start with giant lemon heads. Mmmm…my favorite.

From there just swing by the bulk candy section and pick your favorites, sticking with the 5 colors of the Olympic rings.

Then set them out and let your friends oooh and awww over your festiviousness (it’s a word…a new word).

Featured Bottom Left

This is a widgeted area which is called Featured Bottom Left. It is using the Genesis - Featured Posts widget to display what you see on the Family Tree child theme demo site. To get started, log into your WordPress dashboard, and then go to the Appearance > Widgets screen. There you can drag the Genesis - Featured Posts widget into the Featured Bottom widget area on the right hand side. To get the image to display, simply upload an image through the media uploader on the edit page screen and publish your page. The Featured Posts widget will know to display the post image as long as you select that option in the widget interface.
