I’m happy to welcome Chelsea as my guest. Chelsea blogs at the Lovely Letters. She is here to get us all thinking about Mother’s Day, and show us how to make simple cupcake toppers.
I know! right?! I still can’t get over how fast Mother’s Day came.
Here is what you need to make these simple cupcake toppers for Mother’s Day.
Supplies needed:

green polka dot paper
-
shades of pink paper
-
white paper
-
flower punch
-
scalloped circle punch
-
large 2″ circle punch
-
glue & foam squares
-
letter stamp
-
ink pad
Directions for 12 cupcake toppers:
Punch out 12 large white circles, large green circles, and white scalloped circles. Then punch out 24 pink flowers in varying shades.
Stamp a letter on each white scalloped circle.
When dry, glue monograms onto center of large green circles.
For the other side, glue one pink flower onto a large white circle.
Then layer a different pink flower on top (only gluing center so you can pull petals up once they’re dry).
Use your finger to pull up the petals for a fuller look.
When dry, tape sucker stick or toothpick on back of one circle.
Add foam squares to the back of the other circle and press onto the other side of the sucker stick. (These can be one sided if you want, I just chose to do 2 sided).
