I hope you all had a nice holiday weekend!
My weekend seemed to go by way too fast because I have been busy working on a surprise that I’m excited to share soon.
I love to decorate for the 4th of July! I just got out all my red, white and blue decor just in time for Memorial Day, so that I can count it for two holidays.
I love to leave it up for all of June and into July.
I was recently inspired by an image I pinned on Pinterest. I love Pinterest!

The idea is to use cupcake liners as kitchen decor, rather than storing them where no one will see them. Isn’t it fun?!
I found a bunch of fun 4th of July cupcake liners at Hobby Lobby, and my friend Cindy of Skip To My Lou runs an online baking supply store Sweet!~Baking Supply that also carries a bunch of fun cupcake papers too!
So I swapped out the Spring Apothecary Decor for the now Summer decor.
I think I’ve found myself a new collection! Cupcake baking cups! If you’d like to stock up too, here’s a bunch of links to Sweet Baking Supply, to help get you ready for the 4th.
1. Red Gingham Baking Cups
2. Blue Stripe Baking Cups
3. Red Baking Cups
4. 4th of July Mylar Spray Picks
5. Glitter Star Cupcake Picks
6. Red Stripe Baking Cups
7. Blue Polka Dot Baking Cups

Super cute idea!! Thanks for sharing info on Cindy’s shop – I follow her too but somehow missed that she had a shop. Bookmarked it and will order some supplies for sure! Appreciate all that you share with your online friends. AJ
Thanks AJ! Yes! You should! Cindy has a bunch of great stuff!
This is adorable (and cost effective too)!!
How Cute! What a great idea. Cupcake wrappers are so pretty. It is a shame to keep them in a drawer.
Thanks for a great idea!
Fun idea Kami! Need to get some cupcake wrappers from Sweet!

I am super excited to see this post:) I have some jars in my sweet vintage kitchen that I fill with cupcake liners to match the current holiday or season
this was super cute ans I heart pintrest too
I am headed over to Sweet right now:)!!!
Love this idea, Kami! And I know I pinned a party where they strung them as a swag too. They are amazing little decor items, aren’t they? I am loving them in the jars with the firework-ee things. And who doesn’t love pom-poms? Maybe somebody doesn’t. But I don’t love that person. I guess I need to get out the 4th stuff. It’s like a month away. eekers!
I love this idea! The papers are too pretty to keep hidden in a drawer or cabinet! Stopping by from “Skip To My Lou”
Love this idea! We featured it in our 4 of July round up and gave it a big thumbs up! Super cute!

What a cute idea! I have seen some really cute cupcake wrappers for sale recently, I may have to give this a try in my kitchen!
Thanks for sharing! Best, Michelle
This is such a simple, yet elegant, idea! I’ve been putting some of my specialty yarn in jars cuz they’re decorations in their own right. Never thought of cupcake liners, but it they’re as pretty as the ones you have, they should be shown!
I’d love for you to link this and any other cupcake post you have at the month long Cupcake Link Party!
Cheers,
Tracy
