Goat Cheese Red Pepper Toasts make a great easy appetizer.
Goat Cheese and Red Pepper Toasts
Our first night up at WhiteFish Lake, Montana (a few Summers ago) we had an Appetizer Night for our dinner… basically our meal was made up of a bunch of different appetizers. I love a meal like that, because you have so many options! My sister Becky (who I seem to mention a lot when it comes to recipes…because she’s the best cook!) brought these little breads pictured above, and they were good! We have no official title for them, so I’m just going to call them Becky’s Beautiful Breads or maybe a more accurate title would be: Goat Cheese and Red Pepper Toasts.
Ingredients to make Goat Cheese and Red Pepper Toasts:
- 8oz cream cheese
- 8oz goat cheese
- 2 tablespoons fresh oregano finely chopped more or less to taste; we like a lot!
- roasted red peppers
- chopped kalamata olives use about 1 1/2 cups
How to make Goat Cheese and Red Pepper Toasts:
Combine cream cheese, goat cheese and oregano. Spread on toasted baguette slices
Top with red peppers and olives.
You could toast or not toast the bread, either way, I think they would be good
