Our house feels so cozy this time of year. What is it about the lights on the tree at night that just make you want to snuggle up and watch a Christmas movie or listen to Christmas music?
Ever since the weekend after Thanksgiving, we have been soaking in all the glories of our tree. This year’s tree looks a lot like “Bruce” from last year…only no name yet. Any ideas?
How about Mable?
I love our new little tradition of cutting down our tree. Speaking of Christmas Traditions, Calli of Make it Do, invited me to share this tradition today as part of her week of traditions.
Here’s a few pictures from this year’s trip to cut down our tree:
I love seeing my two all snuggled up together watching Charlie Brown.
Here’s our tree this year. The star slipped to the side a bit, and we have yet to fix it (no biggie).
I hope you are all enjoying this Christmas season. Can you believe Christmas is just a week and a half away?
ps. Today on Tip Junkie, Laurie invited me to share the top 10 Classic Christmas songs, but I just couldn’t stop there, I had to list 10 more. There are way too many classics. Come on over and tell us your favorite Christmas song this year.

Very cute tree! I love it!
That tree looks like a Vera.

Cute tree. Frosty is the big movie in our house this year. We don't have Charlie Brown on DVD — that should be on our list.
I haven't had a live tree since… Well, since I was a small child, I think. The upkeep and fire stories always get to me. But there's no substitute for a real pine smell. It's beautiful!

Your tree is amazing. No surprise there!
You tree is, to me, elegant and sophisticated! I would go with Catherine!:)
You guys are awesome! Real trees intimidate me. Probably because I know I would kill it somehow. So, to substitute for the pine smell, I melt a tree scented Scentsy.
Your house looks cozy! And the kids look darling!
Your house looks so Christmas cozy. Cute kiddos. It was so fun meeting you at the cookie exchange and Ikea. I talked to your Mom last night and emailed her the cookie recipe. What a sweet lady. I'll be posting the recipe later this week too. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
Love it! Love the lighting from Christmas trees. That's the only light we have been using in our living room at night since we put the Christmas tree up. Love this time of year!!
I like Vera too!! Ha!
And I want a real tree. As much as I LOVE my fake one, one year I want to go cut one down! So fun.
Love the pic of your kiddos watching Charlie Brown. I wish I had time to sit and watch Christmas movies all day with my girls…
