Thrifty Thursday: Credenza (before & AFTER)

Remember this guy?! My 50 buck Savers find? Well he (I’m pretty sure he’s a he) is finally finished! Take a look!

I couldn’t be more happy with the transformation.

In full to partial disclosure, this post technically does not qualify as a Thrifty Thursday post. I paid someone to paint and refinish it for me

…and it was worth it!

I totally would have paid someone to do it too after tackling my $50 orange dresser :)

I just had someone do a blue armoire for me and it was worth every penny!

It's fabulous! There's no shame in paying someone to do something that you don't want to do or don't have time to do. That's what makes the world go 'round.

I love that you saw the potential in this piece of furniture. & I LOVE that color. I used a similar color to make my little babe's room POP! Originally it was apricot & orange – then I added the light blue and I couldn't be more excited about it. I blogged about it here:

It's gorgeous! I'm so envious! I want one!( stomping foot in tantrum)! Can you share the paint brand and color? I have what I believe is a tip somewhat related: I stumbled upon a site, after wanting a $2,000.00 craft/kitchen island from Pottery Barn-a free site called : Knock Of Wood.com where the woman drew up the plans and posted them for free, along with many others. I think it's awesome. Another woman posted her daughter's room make-over she did herself using free wooden flats(?) from shipping area of store. Check it out!
