As of today, we have only 2 weeks left of First Grade for my girl. A field trip to the zoo and field day are the last two highlights for the year. This year has flown right by. I signed up to be the party mom this year, and I loved it!
We set up station rotations at each party to keep the kids busy. The make shift photo booth is my new favorite station. All you need are coordinating head pieces: anything that screams PARTY!
just to name a few:
bunny ears
reindeer antlers
Santa hats
a giant balloon heart
I would pick one kid to start and invite them to choose a friend to have their picture taken with and go from there. It was a great way to get to know the kids in her class, and document her first grade year.

I love this idea! So original – and you are so creative with the themes
What a fun idea!
Very cute idea. Unfortunately out school has been a lice factory this year. We've avoided it so far, but only through paranoid vigilance. Like not sharing hats with anyone. Maybe I could Photoshop hats on everyone!
We did a Valentine's heart thing like that for a Daddy-daughter party but used a red trifold board that would stand up on it's own (on top of a table). I could NOT get the balloons to stay attached. What's your secret?
Who doesn't love balloons? I love that little ones made into one big one! So clever!
Jennie – My trick was that I stapled the tail of the balloons to the cardboard heart shape. Also, I painted the cardboard red too. I hope that helps if you ever do it again.
