Lunch with Mrs. Fields

Well, not technically the real Mrs. Fields (she sold the business a long time ago), I guess I should say Mrs. Fields Gifts and friends.  Last Friday I joined a fun group of bloggers for lunch and a tour of the Mrs. Fields Bakery and Gifting Facility.

The highlight of the tour would have to be the hairnets, everyone looks good in a hairnet! ;) Other highlights would include the giant freezer room, the ginormous wheel of bubble wrap (pure heaven) and the smell of freshly baked cookies… Yum!

If you are looking for fun field trips this summer, and you are in Utah, you should look into a Tour of the Mrs. Fields Bakery and Gifting Facility. Your kids would love it!

I was in charge of the table decor for the lunch. It was fun putting my love for paper crafts to good use. I loved how it turned out.

At the end of our tour, we each got to decorate a giant chocolate chip cookie cake. It was a fun afternoon spent with a great group of bloggers.

They surprised each of us with a few sugar cookies with our blog logos on them.We all LOVED it! How cute is mine?! It was my favorite part of the day, right up there with the hair nets. ;) Probably the best (and only) dot net I’ve ever eaten. ;)

These logo cookies would be so fun as a wedding favor or a baby announcement.

A big thanks to the great people at Mrs. Fields Gifts for such a fun afternoon.

Wow!! The things you get to do. How fun is that? I think a tour of the Mrs Fields should be added to the list of things I am going to do in Utah–3 1/2 more weeks!!

Nice table spread! And love your logo cookie. What a fun idea! Looks like a fun trip, and with cookies involved, how could you go wrong?!

BTW: Thanks for your comment on my blog. You're too sweet! I'm no professional at decorating, but I'm always up for shopping! :) Anytime you want to go… sometimes it is just nice to have someone to bounce off ideas for decor. But if you do make your millions, then I would have to charge a very hefty fee. ha! ;)
