As a big fan of paper crafts, I’m thrilled to show off my latest tool: The L Letter Press! I love the look and feel of letterpress and I love that Lifestyle Crafts is making it more accessible for someone like me to have the ability to do it in the comfort of my soft pants with the elastic waistband own home.
Last month I met with the sweet staff of Lifestyle Crafts and they sent me home with the new-to-me L Letterpress Combo Kit to try out, and I must say that I’m having a lot of fun with it. Once I got down the trick of the inking (not too little, not too much), I started mixing the ink colors that I have. I’m excited to add more ink colors to the mix, and I’m loving their blog which is loaded with so many great ideas. They have a bunch of printing plates to choose from, and you can also upload your own designs to make your own custom plates. In other words, your creative possibilities are endless.

I have the complete set, including paints, paper, new speedball brayer, etc. I used it once w/o paint and got indents from the edges of the plate on the paper. Have you had this problem?
