You know what they say..."Owls are like totally the new rooster". Nah, they don't say that. I say it. Because I think it sounds funny.
You really never know what you will find while thrifting, that's the fun of it (I think). Apparently I am loving owls, lately. The owl above is technically a trivet. A pretty cute trivet.
Here is a b & a picture before I cleaned it up with a little silver polish. It came with a hook, so I can hang it on the wall.

I love OWLS & I love THRIFT STORE shoppin'!!! Do you mind if I ask what thrift stores you've been so fortunate to find all your owls and other treasures at.. like the old turquoise typewriter? Love that too!
I want to thrift store shop with you! And I think that you are right about owls being the new rooster. Do you think it would work to paint giant owl eyes on my roosters? Think about it and let me know.
I always love a good find whether it's a thrift store or a garage sale or craigslist. My only question is where do you put all those owls??

Your Thrifty Thursday posts inspired me to make a stop at Goodwill before heading to the mall. I was going with my husband on a business trip and was in desperate need of something to wear other than jeans and tees. I found some crazy, crazy, good stuff! Best thing? Chameleon dress pants! They have a very subtle plaid--I know this is going to sound yucky, but trust me--in tan, a dark color, and a reddish color. If I pair them with a brown sweater, the dark color turns brown! If I pair them with a black ruffly blouse, the dark color turns black! If I wear a purple shirt, the reddish color becomes purple! If I wear a pink shirt, the red becomes pink! Yeeeeeehaw! They look fabulous on me, as well.
So THANK YOU for your Thursday posts....next time I'm at Goodwill, I'll be looking for owls.
Owls are much cuter than a rooster, for sure!!! I've been seraching through Etsy shop lately at all the cute owls...they have some very cute pillows I thought would look good on my daughters bed (Honestly though, I think it would be more for me then her). Thanks for sharing your great finds!

I love owls too! We got an awesome owl clock for Brooklyn's room a few months that you'll definitely have to see next time you guys come over. You would love it.

No great thrifted finds here. Unless you count the Christmas sweater I borrowed from my Mom's closet for our ugly Christmas sweater party next month. I need to go thrifting with you.
