all I wanted for my birthday was a new car Juicer. I think I had seen this infomercial one too many times, and I was sold. So on the morning of my 16th birthday, hoping for my dreams to come true, I awoke to my room decorated with every kind of store bought bottled juice. After a big bawl baby waa-waa fit sigh, I realized that this was just another character building moment for me.☺
Now that I’m all grown up (sort of…yeah, not really) I am finally able to make all my juicing dreams come true. This was my gift to myself last year when I turned 30, and I have loved it!
It’s really all about the creation process. So in cleaning out the fridge, it looked like apple/carrot was the flavor for the day.

On a side note: Have you ever noticed the taste difference between the two of these carrots? It’s astounding!
Question: What’s more important to you: convenience or flavor? Let’s discuss!

The 50 year old version of myself (looking through my blurb book) made me add these nomakeupjustwokeup pictures in to document that I was there. Dang her!

Here’s hoping you all have a great weekend, with lots of juicy details.☺

That makes me laugh… That your 16th bday wish was a juicer! Awesome! I remember Ashley Reynolds had one. I think we may have even used it in college in our door room. So lucky for us!!! I love carrot juice and I love baby carrots (so do my girls). And I love you too! Have a great day.
You crack me up. Who would want a juicer for their 16th birthday? Only you:) And those pictures. I can see the 50 yr old Kami right now….still wearing the glasses and drinking carrot and apple juice…YUCK!!!
ps thanks for commenting on Beth’s blog (x3:)
What a fun mom to play like that.
Kam, Give it up that you didn’t get the juicer for your 16th. But the question is: did you pass your driving test?
On the carrots, which one is better? I like the whole ones. What do you like? I bought some last week that were so sweet you could have made juice without the apples. Anyway, sorry AGAIN about “the way too expensive to give a child” JUICER. You probably still have some cans/bottles of juice leftover.
Oh the things that our kids will end up in therapy over
Well I’m glad you have your juicer…
and baby carrots taste like water- which has no taste. But they are easy to throw in a lunch and make me feel (look) like a good mom!
Hands down the whole carrots are better tasting and better for you. I love juicin’ stuff!
I have also always wanted a juicer even from a teenager.
And those straw glass thingys.
You are so much fun at your house!
Happy weekend!
What a cute 16 year old you were – asking for a juicer! I’m glad you finally got it!
Cute pictures – I love those glasses! Have a fruity weekend!
XOXO

Your juicer lookes awesome! I might have to look into that one. I make smoothies every morning and love em! About the carrots. Major difference between the two. I will never buy the small little packaged carrots. I love the fresh ones, they taste so much better!
for my 16th birthday i got 150 dollars. that i had to then hand over 1 week later when i took the car without permission and ran into somebody in the supermarket parking lot.
i love the “early morning kami”–she is just as beeeeeautiful as ever.
Hysterical! My husband wants a juicer so bad!
I love the glasses…and the picture…and the juicer…and definitely the big carrots. I even love to peel them myself!
I’ve got to hear the whole story of the 16th birthday wish too funny
We bought a juicer a while, the kids love it.
you are such a fun mom!! I personally am a fan of the big carrot, way better:) I need to pull out my juicer and start using it again, thanks for all of the great ideas!
That straw is the coolest ever!
And you are crazy adventurous!
I honestly can’t remember the last time I bought regular carrots. Are they that different?
