Did you see it yet?
I saw it with my friend Laurie at midnight on Thursday night with her friend Jaime. Thanks Laurie…even on the front row (kinked neck and all), I loved being there with all the die-hards. Then I saw it again on Friday night with all the Tyler Girls, what fun! I have to say that I really liked it.
There were parts that were a bit weird like the twinkly glittery scene…the music killed it for me, the too much powdery makeup, and Jasper?!
But c’mon…that kiss…was enough for me to love it.
Overall, I loved the music in this movie! I loved the baseball scene with this song and the scene with this song when everyone is staring at Bella with Edward. Oh and this song…It’s now my song of the week. 
Did you see Stephanie Meyer’s cameo?! She was at the counter in the second diner scene.
What did you think about Shark Boy…I mean Werewolf Boy…I mean Jacob Black? 
The whole movie I was trying to figure out where I had seen Esme before. She is Ava in Grey’s.
I am hoping that they dump all the money of this film into the next one…cuz you know I will be there. Anyway…what a fun couple of nights.
We loved seeing it with all of you! E talked ALL the way home (which was a long way) non-stop contrasting the book to the movie.
I have to say both my girls loved Edward. It’s weird to see them buy into all the guy/girl romantic stuff, but they do. They eat it up.
Fun night – I loved the movie!
We loved the movie… and I was so sad the next morning when the reviews were bad. Gotta ignore those reviews… who cares what they think? I agree, they need dump all that money back into the next one!
That shirt is awesome. I totally liked the movie. Of course there were lots of things that weren’t perfect, but overall it was good. I hated the music too! We saw it at a midnight as well so I think it was putting me to sleep. I hope the next one is a little better done, of course I’ll go see it!!
The sparkly sound effects were awful
Almost as bad as the sound effects of girls-who-are badly-in-need of a good date! Of course, when Hugh Jackman looks directly into the screen I might sigh and giggle too

I haven’t seen it yet, can you believe it! My friends all went while we were at the U game. I had to make a decision, and I decided to go to the game with Mark. It was well worth it! Anyone want to go to the movie again? I don’t think Mark really wants to see it!
I heard today that they are making the next two at the same time and they have just begun filming with Edward…we are SO There
That t-shirt is disturbing! I agree that they need more money to make the next one better and that the music was way distracting. Jasper was my favorite character! I laughed every time I saw him. This movie was a great accidental comedy.
I LOVED the movie! I went with very low expectations and opened minded because I wanted to love it! I wish they had the 150 million dollar budget that Harry Potter did. Then the sparkle scene might have been a bit better. Hopefully for the next one they will have a bigger budget. I really liked the cast! I loved the Cullens! Even though Rosalie wasn’t as pretty as I imagined. Luckily I saw the movie with girls that were very positive about it. I think that helped me enjoy it most!
Going from book to big screen the book will always be better. But I really liked it even tough parts could have been better. Most of all I LOVED seeing the book come to life!
I really wanted it to be better, but overall I was pretty good. I’m glad they stuck to the book.
And yes… the KISS was the best part.
It was fun seeing the movie with you, Kami! Your picture turned out much better than mine, but mine has the advantage of being able to be used for blackmail later!
I LOVED the the movie! I was thinking that Esme looked familiar. I never would have connected the Grey’s Anatomy girl! Good eye! Edward was dreamy. Craig wants to go see the movie just so he knows what he’s up against

felt just like you did, kami–there were some parts that were cheesball, but i felt like with a book that is so beloved, NOBODY could get it just right. somebody is gonna whine.
i thought the music kicked a and the chemistry was awesome between bella and edward.
we did laugh out loud every time jasper walked on screen!

I pictured the Cullen kids being more attractive then they were on the big screen. I do have a mini crush on Edward even with his Victorias Secret glitter shine bronzing powder.
Well, for the most part I felt like i was watching an Afterschool Special, not a major motion picture. But I did like Bella. And a few of the scenes were good. I didn’t hate it, but I hope they use all this money to do a better job with the next one. If there is a next one.
K-K-K-Kami! Holla! I just saw it last night. I loved it but also couldn’t get over some of the ultra cheeziness, the sparkles, like you said, were really bad, and the makeup was really really bad, especially on Carlile, cute 90210′s hubby. His blonde hair with grey highlights was weird. I had to TMBD Rene, Bella’s mom. I finally found out where I’d seen her before, 24 day 3…Nina Myers! Wow, that was buggin’ me.
