I just wanted to declare my love for all things Google. Specifically Google Reader. Y’all know that I love to share things that I like down on my side bar under “Sharing Time” (gotta love sharing time). Have you checked it out lately?
Along with sharing items, I also love to star items too, things that I want to save or remember. My starred items folder is becoming way too full, so I was going through it the other day and discovered that any starred item can be un-starred then re-starred again and that brings the starred item up to the top of your starred items folder. I was thrilled to find this out, because it means no more scrolling and hunting. Here are a few items that I have had starred for quite a while that I thought I would share.
- The first one is a project that I have wanted to do ever since I saw it back in February. One of these days if I ever get around to it, I would love to make this. You just have to love Ali Edwards, if there ever was an A-lister of scrapbooking, she’d be it.
- The next one was starred back in April. It is just something I liked if I ever lost my dog or wanted to sell my car, I would love to do it this way.
- The last one is something I have found helpful from the Google Reader blog itself. Maybe it could help you too!
So tell me, do you star things using the G-force? And if so, what are your favorite things about it.

That butterfly print inspired me too. I made one a couple of months ago…it was super easy and looks lovely in my craft room. Do share the one you make!
I Star a LOT. Its a great feature.
I also like the search option. I use that one almost as much as the starring items.
I think I’m gonna have to try out the keyboard shortcuts now though…
Like my name twin, I, too, will be checking out those keyboard shortcuts!
I used to use Bloglines, but switched to the Reader several months ago – so worth it with so much more functionality.
I have never starred, you’ll have to teach me.
I’m so impressed by people that actually understant all this “techy” stuff. I have never starred (didn’t know it existed), maybe someday I will.
Amanda’s house is adorable. I hope your “advertising” helps her out. It’s no fun selling a house.
Love both the crafts. One of these days I’ll use the teeth for something. Too clever.
I need to use the star more; I wasn’t aware of all that it could do for me!
You always impress me with your technical savvy!
I am very cautioun with my google reader because I feel like I will get overwhelmed if I put too much on there. I save it for my “favorite” BBFF’s so I can know when they post something new
I love google reader but have never tried starring anything. Thanks for the tip!
I have been a Google Reader user for about 7 months now, thanks to you. It has simplified my life.
Yes, I do use the “Star” and love it. 90% recipes, 5% cool items I wish I could buy, 5% cool ideas that I wish would do.
love the picture of Avery! I love that place for picts too…so much fun! I got nothin about the google reader though! no clue about it
Thank you Kami.
I heart reader. I heart all things google. Especially analytics!
I star. I share. I mark as read.
I LOVE Google Reader and yes, I star items a lot. It seems as though I can never keep up. Or, once I have caught up, I have 150 new blog posts again!
reader truly is amazing! i love starring favorite posts, recipes, restaurant ideas, etc. but i especially love it when YOU share items in reader, they’re my fave. and thanks for sharing these, i love that ad idea, so hilarious!
I am not a shopper. I don’t go looking for great home finds or kids clothing. So when someone else finds something I love I star it so I can go back to it later. I also star other people’s book lists as if I am going to ever get around to reading those thousands of books, but a girl can dream right!
I just found your site and I think it’s so cute! I love your idea of a movie clip party too. Have a great day!
