Today Colleen (the best M.I.L. a girl could ever ask for) is having a biggie birthday! I will always remember the first time I met her, she gave me a big hug. I remember just instantly loving her.
Here is a little list of some of my Colleen Favorites:
She is a peacemaker: this trait has been passed onto Kyle too, which has been such a blessing in our lives.
She is a hugger: she hugs when we are coming and going. When it comes to extended family, I would take a hugger over a kisser any day.
She can handle her own: she is the only girl with six brothers.
She has a way of making her family feel so successful at whatever they do.
She is a great cook, always trying new recipes of yummy desserts.
She is an amazing multitasker: I am always amazed at how she can have so many dishes (in pretty dishes too) hot and ready at the same time for Sunday Dinner.
She is a big care giver: for the last several years she has been so self-less in the care of her parents.
She is very service oriented: for the last 20 something years, she has sang with her signing group Medical Melodies for Rest Homes.
She is a wonderful Grandma: Avery just loves her “Gramma Clean”.

I love my MIL too – it’s a lucky thing to feel that way. She sounds like a great person & she must be really clean too (Grandma Clean).

I finally had some time to sit down and catch up on your family and read your blog! You are so talented and amazing and Avery is so beautiful (love her name!) and you look great too.
