This is a widgeted area which is called Featured Bottom Left. It is using the Genesis - Featured Posts widget to display what you see on the Family Tree child theme demo site. To get started, log into your WordPress dashboard, and then go to the Appearance > Widgets screen. There you can drag the Genesis - Featured Posts widget into the Featured Bottom widget area on the right hand side. To get the image to display, simply upload an image through the media uploader on the edit page screen and publish your page. The Featured Posts widget will know to display the post image as long as you select that option in the widget interface.

i actually have a photo from that series that i will post for you tomorrow–it’s the number of soda cans all lined up. pretty freaky. esp. considering i drank all of them.
national geographic does some pretty cool stuff.
That’s a great quote! Admittedly, it’s easier said than done. Have you seen “The Story of Stuff” video?
Watch it at:

Very interesting take of where “stuff” comes from.
I was going to tell you about the story of stuff too! It’s so alarming! But changes are amist, I can feel it!
I am such a consumer! YIKES. Maybe I will start getting my fountain drink in a refill cup. It kindof freaks me out… thanks for all the little wake-up calls this week.
That is amazing isn’t it! Tons and tons of stuff, of which I have contributed my fair share…
It’s a wonder there is room for us!
Our boiler broke this week & we have been without hot water and heat (we have radiant heat) – it’s been a little rough. But, what makes me sick is the amount of hot water that gushed from the tank before we found that we had a problem. Water that had to be heated and was never used – sickening and expensive. On the up side, we are replacing that old inefficient tank with a more efficient one (better for the earth and our monthly bill).
