I am a big Martha Stewart fan. When her T.V. show got booted to the new time slot of 2:05 A.M. I was crushed. Thank heavens for Tivo!
Anyway recently on her show they showed a craft that was right up my alley. They made T-Shirt Bags. They turn old t-shirts into re-useable grocery bags just by sewing up the bottom and cutting the sleeves off. What a great idea, who doesn’t have old t-shirts? So in honor of Blog Action Day, here is an idea how we can help our environment.

Here are two that I made. (thanks Kyle)

I just love this old t-shirt, I think it is a little too worn to make it into a bag, but I just wanted to post it. The artwork is courtesy of Chris Peterson, Kyle’s best friend.

I was an eco-scout in 8th grade (with Emily Love and Sarah Owens) and had to go through all the garbage cans after lunch at Butler to recycle all the cans people had thrown away. Does that count??
gotta love Jerry Garcia
gotta love any naked man with a flower in front of his dude.
(Cute idea with the shirts! Do you have a sewing machine?)
Did Kyle really give up his Mraz T? only you two would have concert grocery bags! Now all you need is a Dave mathews one!
ooh, clever! i totally love this. thanks for your comment on my blog! i love finding new stalk-worthy friends!
